The major scale is the most important scale in Western music. It uses 7 notes (of
the 12 chromatic notes available) arranged in a particular order.
Understanding how the major scale sits on the guitar fret board is essential to
also understanding how scale patterns, pentatonic scales and chords fit within the 'Master' pattern.
