Guitar Chords Of The Major Scale

The major scale is the most used scale in Western music. It uses 7 notes (of the 12 chromatic notes available) arranged in a particular order.

Understanding how the major scale sits on the guitar fret board is essential to also understanding how guitar chords actually work and where they come from.

This video shows the C Major scale mapped out over the neck of the guitar.
