Learn How To Play Guitar
Like A Pro In 5 Minutes!
That's a tricky headline 'aint it? Please note that it doesn't promise that you
will be able to play guitar like a pro in 5 minutes. But it does promise to show you
(within 5 minutes) how the pro's learn.
I hope you can read this in 5 minutes.
How the Pro's Do it:
1: The pro's learn chords in
groups, not one by one. These groups of chords are called chord progressions.
Common chord progressions are simple to learn
and they literally fit thousands of songs. In other words, most songs use the same common chord
progressions. Some are simple and some are more complex. Basically, once you learn a chord progression, you
have learned hundreds or thousands of songs.
2: The pro's learn all these common chord
progressions in every key! And they learn them by chord numbers NOT the actual
chord name. (Super-shortcut.)
3: They practice these progressions in
all keys until they can play ANY song in ANY key on the spot, without thinking! That's powerful and
is the only true shortcut to becoming a confident musician.
That means they learn to 'transpose' any song to any other key. And because of the
'way' they practice, this becomes automatic!
4: They then apply that knowledge to
songs, hundreds of them. It's easy.
5: They also practice improvising over the same chord progressions in all keys
- every day, usually.
So there it is, in a nutshell.
Note that this applies to all musicians, whether you play
guitar or not! If you want to be a real musician, amateur or pro, for fun or profit, you MUST
learn to master these simple basics. Also note that over 95% of guitarists never do this! I'll
tell you why later on.
